Economic Daily provided that the Taiji Nanke 14B plant, which had a photoresistor defect, could produce 100,000 tablets per month. The main processes were 16 nanometers and 12 nanometers. Among them, Huida produced more than 10,000 tablets. After close collaboration with customers before the Lunar New Year, TSMC's decision-makers considered that the company should bear the greatest responsibility. Originally, they thought that some of the affected wafers could be re-exposed to customers. Therefore, the initial estimate was that the number of discarded wafers would not exceed 20,000.

Taiji Telecom announced last Friday (15) that due to the impact of the incident, its combined revenue will be reduced from 7.3 billion to 7.4 billion US dollars, down to 7 billion to 7.1 billion US dollars, a decline of about 3%, affecting more than NT$9 billion.
